Skin: how to avoid wrinkles?
As we age, it's perfectly normal to notice small marks on our skin. These are wrinkles, and they generally form on sensitive and delicate areas such as the face, neck, and décolletage.
Reduced production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid is the root cause of wrinkles. Cell aging is the primary cause of wrinkles; indeed, with age, the skin becomes increasingly fragile and wrinkles.
The appearance of wrinkles is also linked to health, diet, skincare, sun exposure, and pollution. All of these factors contribute to sagging and loss of skin elasticity. The most common wrinkles are those around the eyes, as well as the "frown lines" on the forehead.
Here are some easy tips to apply in your daily life to prevent the appearance of wrinkles and preserve the beauty of your skin .
-
Taking care of and moisturizing your skin
To delay the appearance of wrinkles as much as possible, optimal skin hydration is essential. Every day, it's important to apply a hydrating serum or cream rich in key ingredients for skin health, such as antioxidants (vitamins C and E, polyphenols, selenium, etc.). These ingredients protect the skin from external aggressors, as well as firming and restoring its density.
As a skincare routine, applying plant-based oils is highly recommended to prevent and reduce wrinkles thanks to their powerful nourishing effect. The best oils for the skin are argan oil, rosehip oil, evening primrose oil, and borage oil. Their regenerating, antioxidant, anti-aging, and softening properties are ideal for preventing deep wrinkles.

Having a good diet
To stay in shape and maintain healthy skin , a healthy and balanced diet is essential. Indeed, certain nutrients contribute to skin elasticity and hydration.
To do this, you need to consume as much fruit and vegetables as you want every day, especially those that are rich in antioxidants such as raspberries, apricots, cherries, artichokes, beets and avocados.
Sources of omega-3 should also be favoured, such as salmon, olive oil, tuna or spinach.
Finally, you should focus on proteins (poultry, meat, soy, tofu…) because they ensure the synthesis of the different fibers that make up the skin, such as collagen (a protein that slows down the effects of skin aging).
To preserve youthful, firm skin, Délicure has developed its Collagen collection: natural, sugar-free formulas made in France, based on patented Cartidyss® and Reggenerate™ collagens. These innovative active ingredients, combined with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and zinc, work synergistically to improve skin density, elasticity, and hydration while supporting the beauty of hair and nails.
These supplements are perfectly tolerated and fit into a daily wellness and skincare routine.

To enhance their effects, it's essential to adopt a healthy lifestyle: staying well-hydrated (1.5 to 2 liters of water per day) helps maintain supple, plump skin. Green tea, rich in antioxidants, can also protect skin cells from oxidative stress.
Finally, to preserve the benefits of collagen, it is best to limit the consumption of alcohol and tobacco, which weaken skin fibers and accelerate skin aging.

Protect yourself well from the sun
The sun is one of the skin's worst enemies. Some of its rays, UVA and UVB, are harmful to the skin because they cause damage inside cells, which deteriorates collagen and elastin fibers. This is what is known as photoaging (or premature skin aging).
To properly protect yourself from the sun, and thus prevent premature skin aging, you need to choose a good sunscreen adapted to your skin type.
When exposed to the sun, regardless of the sun protection products used, they must be applied every two hours.
Another piece of advice, to avoid sunburn (burns and inflammation of the skin), it is advisable not to expose yourself during the hottest hours, that is to say between 12pm and 4pm.
Aside from the sun, pollution also damages the skin. Pollution particles in the environment promote oxidative stress and cause signs of aging such as wrinkles, loss of radiance, and loss of firmness. Therefore, it is very important to take care of your skin regularly.

Massage your face
In addition to caring for and properly moisturizing your skin, a facial massage is very effective for reducing signs of fatigue and smoothing fine lines. It should be gentle and performed delicately to avoid irritating or damaging the skin.
There are three types of targeted massage:
- To combat the small wrinkles that appear at the outer corners of the eyes, also known as "crow's feet", you must massage this area by making small circles with your fingers.
- To reduce horizontal wrinkles on the forehead, a repeated movement from the center of the forehead towards the temples is necessary.
- Regarding frown lines, you should start massaging from the nostrils towards the jawbone, or from the corner of the mouth towards the jawbone.
Bonus tip: the massage can be done while applying a moisturizing cream to boost its effectiveness.

Cartidyss collagen, a valuable anti-aging ally
The marine collagen in our Cartidyss® collagen capsules is an effective and scientifically validated solution for combating wrinkles and visibly improving skin appearance. Thanks to its unique formulation combining type II marine collagen peptides and essential glycosaminoglycans such as hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, and glucosamine, Cartidyss® actively stimulates the natural synthesis of collagen and elastin, two key proteins for skin firmness and elasticity. Its low molecular weight (<3000 Da) allows for optimal absorption by the body, acting deep within the skin to improve dermal density (+38%) and thickness (+10%). Clinical studies have demonstrated that daily supplementation of just 500 mg for 90 days leads to a significant reduction in wrinkles of up to 25%, particularly around the eyes and mouth. The skin appears plumped, smoother, and better hydrated, with a noticeable improvement in its overall texture and tone, confirming Cartidyss® as an essential ingredient in anti-aging nutricosmetics. We also offer a vegetarian version in the form of sugar-free gummies thanks to an exceptional patented collagen.

Getting quality sleep
Getting good quality sleep allows the skin to regenerate and repair itself against the various aggressions it may encounter. It is therefore very important to sleep sufficiently at night to preserve the radiance of your skin.
A bad night's sleep can lead to the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation differences, and a loss of elasticity. In the long term, unrefreshing sleep can cause premature skin aging.
To ensure quality sleep, Délicure offers Sleep gummies , enriched with melatonin (the sleep hormone), relaxing plants (passionflower, linden, and poppy), and vitamins (B5 and B6). They promote faster sleep onset, help limit awakenings during the night, and thus contribute to better quality sleep.
