Tips for a successful detox
These days, our bodies and immune systems are increasingly attacked by our environment, on a daily and growing scale. Since ancient times, many plants have been used in beverage form to purify and cleanse the body and mind. But did you know that certain juices can truly detoxify the body?

Detox foods
Anti-detox foods are foods that allow our bodies to naturally detoxify, meaning they work to suppress oxidation in our cells. They can be of plant, animal, or mineral origin. Their action on metabolism (depending on the nutrients, vitamins, and free radicals they contain) allows the elimination of accumulated toxins and the elimination of waste. Here are the main ones:
* Birch juice: It has natural depurative and diuretic properties that help purify the blood and promote the overall recovery of the body.
* Lemon juice: It has natural properties as a kidney stimulant, toxin remover, antioxidant, and preventative of cardiovascular diseases and cancer (thanks to its concentration of flavonoids).
* Cabbage: It has slimming and antioxidant properties.
* Spinach: It has a rich concentration of nutrients and a high potassium content, which provides diuretic and alkalizing properties.
* Asparagus: It has diuretic properties, and helps to drain the liver and eliminate toxins, as well as anti-stress properties thanks to a high concentration of folates.
* Leek: It has diuretic, detoxifying and anticancer properties (thanks to its concentration of potassium and kaempferol, and its low sodium content).
* Black radish: It has a high concentration of sulfur, magnesium, potassium and calcium, which helps regenerate the liver and drain the gallbladder and kidneys.
* Carrot: It has a high concentration of glutathione as well as beta-carotene, which helps both cleanse the liver and promote the functioning of the immune system .
* Pineapple: It has fat-burning and detoxifying properties, thanks to the many different enzymes it contains.
* Pomegranate: It has many antioxidants and improves blood and lymphatic circulation.
* Avocado: It has a high level of glutathione, and helps cleanse the body of chemicals and helps the liver function.
* Grapefruit: It has a high concentration of vitamin B5, slimming properties, very few calories, and fat-burning properties (thanks to flavonoids).
* Apple cider vinegar: It has strong antibacterial properties and helps cleanse the intestines of microbes, which helps aid digestion and reduce bloating.
* Coriander: It has a high concentration of micronutrients, which helps eliminate heavy metals from the body.

The best detox juice recipes
Among the foods mentioned above, many juices allow you to undertake cures, short or longer, based solely on vegetables, fruits, roots or spices. In addition to these juices, it is very important not to have any particular deficiencies, to have a balanced diet, not to have a serious illness, and not to have heavy simultaneous medication. Here are examples of juices, smoothies, and soups, the most effective, and the simplest and least expensive to make. All the ingredients should be used (unless contraindicated) fresh and prepared immediately. Do not forget to wash the vegetables and fruits well, and especially the herbs. They should all be prepared in a blender, or in a mixer, and using a juicer or a juice extractor in certain cases. The vegetables and fruits (unless contraindicated) should all be peeled and the plants should be chopped. All recipes should be enjoyed fresh and cold.
